Our Story

I’m David Aston, I’m not a doctor but I am somebody who has spent the last decade researching the most obscure and prominent health ideas on earth.
I’m fascinated with living as a superhuman.
In fact I launched my first health website in 2010.
It was a blog for muscle builders, biohackers and the health conscious.
I’d post research and interview doctors, healers and researchers…
That first health & fitness website sold back in 2015.
I was burnt out and overwhelmed with misinformation.
There wasn’t an easy to understand, science backed resource available.
I needed a break to refocus and rebrand.
My head needed to be clear If I were to become one of the most trusted health resources online.
I’ve helped thousands world-wide improve their health, sleep and energy by studying the human experience, the importance of diet and effects of lifestyle.
If you’re like me, you need evidence-based and medically reviewed information.
Our library delivers sustainable, science backed solutions for perfect health, performance, and longevity.
Perfect Health Is Finally Possible
Have you noticed the weird looks you get when you talk about alternative healing?
It’s like you’ve just grown another head.
In the “wild west” days of the Internet, most health forums championed mainstream medicine!
In the last 15 years I’ve discovered things that prove beyond a doubt that you don’t need mainstream medicine exclusively.
You can go from wherever you are to superhuman health.
In just a moment I’ll show you exactly how.
First, you need to know a bit about my past…
It all started when I woke up and couldn’t breathe, panicking, grasping for air.
My days were filled with a dull, nagging, never ending pain.
Plus a brain full of fog for what seemed like month.
Asthma, allergies and pain were my only friends for most of my childhood.
They were always there.
Being in a health prison forced me to look at my environment and listen to my body.
At 16 I loved playing football…
I was told by several people I was pretty good too.
After one game, I fell in the parking lot…
Gasping for air.
I felt that I was done, it was all over.
That’s what a severe asthma attack can do for you.
I just played an entire football game, offense and defense with no signs of anything.
I had been having asthma attacks during my games, but adrenaline kept me going.
But once the game ended…
No more adrenaline, and…
Bang!
I had enough.
Never again would I be held hostage by my health.
After a couple puffs on my inhaler I felt like a drug addict.
I’d let myself down again.
Am I no better than a junkie dependent on his fix?
And Then It Happened…
I started reading all the medical journals, health books and everything else I could find.
If something worked for me, I wrote it down and stuck with it.
If not, it was tossed.
Eventually friends began to constantly asked things like how to cure colds?
Or How to build muscle quickly and easily?
What are the best supplements and where to get them?
I was quickly becoming Mr. Healthy.
This amazing and simple cure inspired me to see what else was out there.
It completely fueled my obsession with perfect health.
I was ok with it for the time being.
Experience Is The Purest Form Of Knowledge
When I was 19, I became a certified personal trainer while studying to be a Physical Therapist.
I’d hold boot camps on the weekends. I would train people weeknights after class…
I often introduced my clients to some strange, yet remarkably effective health and fitness techniques. Most times, my suggestions were met with laughter, but then they tried my advice…
They wanted to focus on vanity and ignore the internal, which was causing the external to be as it was. I saw this as the perfect opportunity to help with more than just weight loss or muscle building.
People couldn’t believe how great they were feeling and how simple it was to achieve a high quality of being. I kept researching and testing things on myself before offering suggestions to friends or clients…
Eventually word spread, and people were sending me messages with questions and asking for direction. This prompted me to start my first health and fitness website.
I’d turn their questions into blog posts, and eventually started getting love from search engines like Bing and Google. Since then, I’ve published over 400 health and fitness articles.

A Moment Of Transparency
Today, in addition to running HealthIssuesFixed, I travel around the globe meeting health, science and lifestyle experts who are eager to share life changing, powerful and in some cases unorthodox information.
Content is what makes this website great!
Our aim is to be one of the largest, most trusted, of course, this takes work. We have a team of 15 doctors, researchers and editors producing new content each day.
Health by choice, not by chance.

A note to my readers:
This website presents my own research, experiences and ideas. And while I hope you’ll be inspired to get the most out of yourself and life, keep in mind I’m not a doctor. Although you will see content on this website that has been created and shared by doctors and scientists, they are not your personal physician. By all means use this site, but this site is not intended to substitute for consultation with your doctor. Neither I, the publisher, guest authors or affiliates can claim any responsibility for any adverse effects resulting directly or indirectly from any information contained within this website.
Let me put it like this: If you decide to go on 40 mile barefoot night-hike to go connect with yourself, no matter what advice of mine you do or don’t follow, you do so at your own risk. But I’ll be with you in spirit every exciting step of the way.
Thomas Edison had it right when he said,
“The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care
of the human frame and in the cause of and prevention of disease.”
